PIP is usually counted as income, but then also usually allocated as an allowable expense, covering the things PIP is designed to cover.
Motability will get the allowance direct, so it should not affect your budget directly.
I know a few of our posters have Motability vehicles and will, hopefully, be able to comment.

We had (and still do have) a motability car. As Foggy stated, you don't see the money at all it goes directly to Motability who pay it to the car dealer. If you currently have expenses in your IVA for car expenses then you need to inform your IP as your payments may go up due to the fact that other than fuel, you won't pay anything towards the upkeep of your car.
