JetSet .... commercial transfers / takeovers and the like are rarely advertised before they take place, usually at the behest of the acquiring company and it is often a contractual requirement which Mel would have had no choice but to adhere to.
When my firm were transferred I was actually speaking to my IP the day before and could tell him what was happening, but he was still contractually bound not to say anything.
