I was transfered from PJG to Creditfix four days before my final payment. I've been chasing ever since as I haven't had a final review. I called on Monday and they said the closure is being processed and they were due to contact creditors Tuesday to see if they would accept the final dividend #128563; not sure why they wouldn't at outset it was due to be 34p but due to bonuses and pay rise it's about 90p.
Any one else had there closure they told me they 200 PJG cases to close #128558;
We are in exactly the same boat as you. We paid our last instalment just before we were transferred. We also have not had final review.
Why would they go to creditors to ask if they will accept final dividend if they haven't even looked at the final review?
You have got further than me as despite chasing every week I keep getting told it will be looked at but they can't give me any timeline. It is so frustrating. They are probably sick of me but I will continue to chase it up. The fact that you can only get to speak to customer services doesn't help.
They told me there working in strict date order my actual 5 yr date was 9 November last payment 31 Oct.
Not sure what the point of final review is they have all my payslips as I sent them to PJG each month.
I can understand why there not rushing they make little or no money on closure cases. Probably why I've seen other threads about them increasing fees on ongoing cases.
It will be interesting to see if CF try and get fee increases for cases where all the payments have been made. Effectively they would be getting 8% of the 'pot' which could be a substantial sum of money.
I was told we wouldn't be asked to sign any new agreements as we had paid up. That said, she would not admit that other people were being asked to sign new t&c she kept calling them welcome letters. . . .
Thanks for that Cleo. I wonder what their cut off is for getting the new T&Cs signed. Will they let it run if there is only one or two payments left, six months or a year? It will be interesting to find out from other CF transfers.
Despite being told we would not need to sign any new t&c as we had paid final instalment before transfer to CF, we received the letter today saying they had been trying to contact us (lie)to sign the enclosed variation letter. In fact, I have been chasing them every week. They told me my case was with the closure team and I wouldn't need to sign any variation as we were waiting for them to send us final review paperwork.
I would imagine this was an error -- in any case they cannot compel you to sign. Indeed to change things now would probably slow completion down as all calculations to date would be useless.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I really do feel for you. I just don't understand why cases so close to completion were transferred in the first place? Keeping my fingers crossed that things speed up for you. I have had no further communication about the new t&cs since the original email that was sent some weeks ago.
