This is the equivalent thread on the Scottish equivalent to this forum.

http://www.trust-deed.co.uk/forum/topic ... ichpage=11

Hope there may be some useful info in there.

Fortunately I am not transferred.

Well another day has gone by and no letter through the post explaining the transfer and also no reply to my email to Creditfix on 28th Oct. Now beginning to really worry as we have an issue that needs clarification asap!

As per that thread, this does appear to be par for the course. However, they cannot force you to agree --- and, assuming this is the only thing they want changed, it should not affect your payments into the IVA. It simply means the IP gets a larger cut -- which the creditors will also have to agree to.

If, however, your IVA has a minimum dividend which need to be achieved, then this would also have to be altered in line with the fee increase to ensure you don't have to actually pay more over to balance the books.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

That was the now dissolved 'creditfix UK Ltd', rather than 'Creditfix Ltd' which was formed in May this year.

Technically legally separate from each other, but the same directors.

So watch out for those new terms. Make sure as well that you don't let them squeeze you at review time.
My opinions are just that: Based on my experience and being a self-employed IVA customer.

Can I suggest calling them? And let us know how they are on the phone with you?

If they really have just acquired 900+ IVAs then they are probably in the midst of a lot of admin work.

Just received the official bye bye email and hello creditfixme.co.uk

40 case officers so its going to have the personal touch lol

The email they gave was pjg@creditfixme.co.uk
is this a permanent one for just PJG folks or is it just a temporary one while the hand over continues. ?

At the moment there is a lot of conjecture but no one has to agree to changes that are unreasonable. If you are paying in full or have a minimum dividend requirement it could cost you money if fees were increased. However there is no guarantee that fees will be increased because creditors would have to agree to it too. I am sure all the firms struggling to get by on 15% of realisations would have something to say if one firm managed to get 23%!

I have had a letter by email, it doesn't say anything about fees on it, has anyone been told the fees are changing officially? how does this actually affect us if it's true? I thought terms and conditions are the same?///

There is nothing on the Creditfix letter to say that terms and conditions are to stay the same, so presumably there is no obligation to keep them the same but there is NO WAY I will sign any paperwork for any changes. I am in the same position as pennieless in some ways; I was actually still receiving email from PJG about setting up the F&F as late as 26th Oct telling me what to send to PJG! It's a good job I read the Trust Deed forum in the meantime otherwise I would have sent everything off.

Penniless, this site says that there is a set fee structure so probably unlikely to reach 23%?

I have also just had email, nothing about increase in fees though. As far as I am concerned they bought my case without my consent at lower fees so they can live with it, I will not agree to any changes and will take legal advice if necessary. I have just had valuation etc done as about to pay payment 67 of 6 year iva so am worried senseless about having to fight against secured loan route but will not agree to that so now panicking they'll make me bankrupt and I'll lose house after all this time. Completely gutted about all of this and about my very personal information just being passed over to someone I know nothing about. My family I don't speak to are from Glasgow so what if one of them work there and find out some delicate info about my life, far fetched I know but that's how panicked I am. Also the email I just got was hardly full of info or detail so why has taken nearly a week to get to me and still say 'dear Sir madam'. 900 cases? I regularly send emails to 1200+ and manage to personalise them. Sorry but not feeling very positive about any of this. Sold off and p'eed off big time
