Interesting. When I rang CF about F&F the agent said to start really low with the offer and to keep upping it bit by bit. They seem to have two different tactics - but I was not comfy with what I was told as it was very different to what PJG said.

A full and final should be your best offer in my opinion ...going in with further counter offers shows it isn't your best offer ... certainly wouldn't suggest you had more than fwo figures in your mind

Totally agree with Luluj, best offer on the table from the outset will hopefully achieve the most positive outcome
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I agree with you both: it rang alarm bells as it didn't seem like best practice to me and left me feeling suspicious.
