First sleepless night over debt/IVA worries in almost 5 years :( Not good at all. I emailed Creditfix as soon as I got the email yesterday and hoping for a reply this morning! Couldn't have happened at a worse time for us either, really disappointed that we were not all contacted as soon as the cases were transferred if I hadn't contacted them about an issue earlier in the week I'm sure we wouldn't have been told yet either, this must have been in the pipeline for some time as contact was slow and a little sporadic since July/August from PJG which I did think was unusual. My biggest fear is our equity release and also new I&E. Am hoping that all will be well but entering into an IVA is a huge thing and to get this far has, although been a struggle and not a pleasant experience, we have at least had some faith in the company dealing with it, knowing we chose them to deal directly with our personal affairs.
Debt free after a successful f&f :)

Just had an email from Laura at PJG and my case has not been transferred (phew!)

I just need to wait for the PPI stuff to be completed before I get my closure.

I don't know the criteria of keeping IVA's or transferring them but it would appear from reading this morning that a lot of posters are grieved and in my opinion rightly so by the fact they read about it on a forum rather than receiving a basic mail shot email or letter even just to say there will be changes which are unfortunate but ...

It's a shame it was leaked before they had the chance to contact every client on their books. I trust all who are with Melanie still complete in a timely fashion and those being transferred I sincerely hope the transition and future administration of your IVA is a positive one for you.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

That's great news Dougie. What a relief!

Has anyone who's been transferred had any response from Creditfix yet?

Nope, nothing from either PJG or Creditfix. The only way I knew was to email my case manager at PJG and ask him; got a short reply saying it had been transferred. Otherwise nil.

I phoned the office and managed to speak to Susan clay, she explained my iva had been transferred and so have in excess of 900 others. Its daunting for everyone as its like starting again. They have their reasons for doing this and there's nothing we can do but hope Creditfix are as fair.

I agree, no sense panicking.

They have to stick to the terms and conditions same as we do.

I was gutted to find out I'm no longer with Mel and her team, almost betrayed as I chose them very carefully.

But now I've had time to think about it, I realised that in my mind I was associating this with debt that is sold on from one debt collector to another...

It's not the same at all.

None of us can do anything but wait and see. No point in assuming that they will a difficult company to deal with.

If anyone from Creditfix is reading this, I encourage you to start participating in this forum and soon. You will reassure your (new) clients and win business.
One pay-cheque away from oblivion!

Hi

I would welcome a representative from Creditfix onto the forum, it would be very useful and very helpful given the current situation

Regards

They have big shoes to fill, but it would definitely be a bonus for both the forum and for Creditfix.

I feel it could be required at the moment to reassure the posters who are affected by the transfer of cases.
