Possibly free of any assist charges, not court fees.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Court fees are now £655 pounds but can be paid in installments. Don't think you can claim anything from benefits.

Hi,
Following you advises I've asked IP supervisor to call a creditors meeting. They've agreed to it. Two weeks later I've received a letter saying that I've breached a contract by not providing some payslips. I can't resend them as they definitely have them as well as all my P60's and I'm unable to get a copy of them from work.
Not sure what to do the moment so any advise will be much appreciated

Part of the fee used to get waived if you were in receipt of certain benefits and unable to raise the funds c£150 from memory.

Why can't work provide you with another copy?

Did you send your IP the originals?

How did you send them - by recorded delivery?

Do you have any proof or acknowledgement that they received any of the documents that were sent at the same time?

I don't think you can get a reduction anymore.

There are grants from various energy and utility companies, also funds from other charitable trusts available for people suffering genuine hardship who need to go bankrupt. Bear in mind that everyone one of the application forms that I have seen do insist that at least part of the application is filled out on behalf of the debtor by a professional debt advisor, with the majority of those stressing that it must be a free debt advice service.

I guess this is to ensure that, should they approve a grant, that the debtors has received advice before taking such a big step.

They're asking for payslips from 2013 and we've had a different company doing payroll for us back then, this why I'm unable to get a copy of them. Also I wouldn't keep a proof of postage for 3 years unfortunately. It's really weird that they haven't contacted me earlier. I've called them again today and they agreed to accept a copy of P60 or bank statements for 2013 so hopefully everything will be ok.
Just wanted to say thank you very much Lisa as you always responding to all my messages so quickly and I really appreciate all advises I'm getting from you

You're welcome best of luck - the P60 should be sufficient in the circumstances.

For information - P60s only have to be kept by employers for 3 years.

Anything older than that they can provide a statement of earnings if the information is still held.

HMRC do not hold or provide copies of P60s.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
