Please can someone help? We were due to finish our IVA on 8th May 2013, but because of previous reviews not been completed properly i.e. our previous IP didn't take into account additional expenditure only additional income after returning to work after maternity, our new IP is requesting an additional £1,050 before we can complete our IVA. I have tried explaining but without having our old bills, I can't really contest the amount and have agreed to pay it. The only problem is they are saying that the payment we made last month doesn't count. Yet I feel it should because it was in fact our 61st payment (with the agreed IVA to run only 60 months), so shouldn't this be taken off what is owed? Help please!! I just want it to be finished after more than 5 years with it hanging over us!! Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately you will need to work through this with your IP as they have all the facts and figures - it is not something we can advise on the forum as we don't have the full details. Hope you can get this resolved x

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !
Do they perhaps mean that the £1050 you owe is after the 61st payment was made?
Work with your IP on this, ask them for a breakdown of where they get their figures from and if you then agree with their calculations, written confirmation that payment of this sum will be the end of your liabilities, hang in there, you are almost there now!
