I ave been in an iva for eighteen months and itfeels like a never ending circle.
I have missed a few payments not always my own fault as the iva company input the wrong bank details.
They then wrote to me and said that i have to increase my repayments or extend the payment terms. Also on top of that they have added £2000=+ of admin charges, letters etc.
I cant take much more i am trying hard to keep the repayments but they seem to just add charge after charge.
Please can you help me and give me a solution. Thanks

Hi Lauren and welcome.

Are those charges on top of the ones which would have been agreed at your creditors meeting?

usually if you miss some payments your payments will need to be increased to catch up the shortfall either within the year or at the end and if thats the case then you will have been charged more fees because of the extra work required to set this up but this will come from the pot that creditors are to receive.I hope you sort it out keep posting if it is getting too much dont let debt ruin your life or health seek advice about BR.

I would be suprised if your IP could charge you for additional work without the agreement of creditors.
