Paul and Lindsay (Brickwall)

I think that you are both at exactly the same stage as me and my husband. We are still gathering all the info to send off to Vincent Bond. It's really helpful to hear your story. We really do not feel alone now. Keep posting! I need to know how you are doing and vice versa.

Hey Sharon ( Breakdown )
Yes, it sounds like we're in the same position, we have just received an email of all the required documentation that Melanie needs. I hope it does'nt take too long to get it together, we just want to get this sorted now. I am really dreading the phone calls from the creditors especially over the Xmas period, not that Xmas will be normal this year, but you want to try and make it special for the kids. I'll be keeping an eye out for you and will continue to post. Good luck with everything, if things get you down, check in to the forum, we log in most nights.

All the best

Paul and Lindsay.

Thanks Viki, just spent ages trying to work it out! Didn't like to ask, thought I was just missing the right link.

Hi breakdown, well done for making the toughest step and arranging your IVA....It's really hard to admit that you're in difficulty, but I promise it's the best thing to do.
I totally relate to what you say about the sleep problems debt causes, and thinking that borrowing more will help you out......but I guess that most of us on here know it's not the answer!

Time goes so fast: I can't believe I've done 3 years already. 5 years seems like a lifetime when you first start out, but I notch every month off, and get great satisfaction from the fact that the number of payments left goes down and down :)

As for feeling guilty - totally normal!! But unfounded, because by doing an IVA, you are paying back your creditors, so you have no reason to feel guilty.

I wish you the best of luck in the future, and I hope that it all works out for you.
