It will be a 'tubby' big hug from me! I look forward to it.

I think an IVA makes all the difference. You realise that you have reached rock bottom, and this (apart from br) is the only way out.

I have lost count of the number of 'consolidation' loans we have had over the years which should have sorted us, but we carried on.

No more, can't go through this again.

TOL I've read your blog and you've got nothing to worry about. Please keep adding to it as much as you want to as it really will help other people. One thing in your blog did worry me - the bit where you say you felt got at in some of the posts. Please don't feel like that - 99.9% of us on here are friendly and non judgemental, and Admin and Andy do a great job when something does happen, like today x

That's it Skip. We all know what it is like to be at rock bottom. I would never judge anyone who has debt problems. God knows what I would do without the support of this site.

Admin and Andy do a great job in sorting out the wheat from the chaff so to speak.

I must admit though, I hadn't spotted anything wrong on here today.

Debt makes us unbelievably vunerable, just to post on here is too much for some out there.

Dont be put off by the extreme minority, think how many out there who will identity with your story???

Please keep blogging. you will be respected by everyone.

Great blog Phoenix ... errrr I mean TOL ... don't change the format ... we love it.
When I was young I was called a rugged individualist
When I was in my fifties I was considered eccentric
Here I am doing and saying the same things I did back then and now I'm labelled senile

Hi tiredoflife,
We salute your courage !
.. and we are deeply appreciative that so many of you are prepared to detail your journeys into and out of debt. These blogs are an invaluable resource for all those on the same journey. A heartfelt thankyou to you all.

... and because of your bravery we do all we can to prevent any semblance of judgemental postings . We email the poster privately to explain and only bar them from the forum as a last resort. Please, please if anyone feels that they are being judged let us know straight away and we will do all we can to put it right. It must never happen !

Tol,that really is some journey you have been on,& i for one have nothing but admiration for you.how could anyone possibly judge you for trying your best to get out of a mess,& then having the courage to speak up about it.your blog is completely open & honest, which i feel makes it inspirational & most importantly a big help to other's who may have found themselves in similar circumstances,as it just goes to show that with strength & determination we can get through anything.well done & keep blogging!![:)]x
