Keep pressuring them! The fact that you can resume the payments should go in your favour.
Have to disagree that the previous company let you down. There were reasons why clients were sold on, and, whilst it is not good for CF, it could not be helped.

Any company that sells on clients and doesn't have the decency to fold then continues to advertise for new ones is not what you think it is.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
I do know the reasons behind the selling on of clients but won't be going into it on here.

By the way - I don't have anything to do with either company!

lifenoteasy says what a lot of posters think, I'm sitting on the fence on this one but have my own personal views which I won't be sharing. However, respect fully lifenoteasy's posts.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
I would hope as you have been waiting on them to reply for so long
( I had the same frustration with my annual review, was over 4 months I think) then perhaps this could be a computer generated letter? we all know how easily Creditfix seem to find sending inappropriate and completely wrong letters out?
I would try again in getting past the first line of customer service
I got told twice I couldn't keep my tax rebate then when I got to my caseworker was told I could
Plus there was the whole no savings fiasco that again I have in writing I can run a savings account, also the equity release fight, It has to be worth fighting for
Good luck!
I am only commenting on the brand - not the individuals and any views are based on what ex clients were officially told plus what we subsequently realised.

Didn't mean to cause any offence lifenoteasy - I'm not impressed with Creditfix from posts on here.

Wait and see what CF come back with - you will have to let your previous IVA fail before you can propose another one. You could end up in a worse situation than you are now.

I presume you have all this correspondence in writing with credit fix that agreed to the variation and said it would be ok ?
If so file a formal complaint and log it with the gateway service (google complain about insolvency practitioner) and send a factual statement and copy of all comms, whilst at the same time sending a copy of the complaint direct to the insolvency practitioner who is named on your agreement.
If anyone ever needed a reason why companies like this are not worth dealing with on the phone but only in writing here it is.......
He said she said on the phone can never be proved or at best the other side plead a misunderstanding, the written word can never be argued.
I imagine once you initiate said formal steps a forthcoming resolution will be swift, heck let them know that its in the public eye in these forums too !

My Blog details, the route I took before IVA, how I choose my firm, equity release advice (year 4-5), challenging the CRA's keeping IVA on credit file once gone from insolvency register
IVA ended August 2015. Would recommend McCambridge Duffy
Your previous company will probably be unable to take back old clients.

Hi,
Yes, I have quite a lot of email correspondence about proposing a variation and asking me to send in new I&E etc, also quite a few apologies for not coming back to me and staff being off sick etc.
BUT some of the conversations were over the phone so that is a lesson learnt for me - I will always ask for confirmation in writing in future!
Do you think I have any grounds to make a proper complaint?
CF have sent be a termination certificate so surely it can't be possible to undo?
