Great news! I agree with Longslog that a complaint is in order. Make sure you get their written confirmation that the docs were issued in error...

recovering - comments spot on especially when you see http://www.iva.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?wh ... 882#593859
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

This makes no sense to me. We answer the phone within 3 rings and you can always speak to the case manager or me and if we're not here we will call back as soon as we are back. Rubbish service from some of the bigger firms. Small ones are clearly the best! ;-)

Its called defined quality standards - that's why I will recommend you (plus the fact that its clear you want people out of an IVA).

Any of our clients get the direct line of whoever they are dealing with plus their email address. In addition we offer two telephone numbers one being a freephone and the other a standard number which is free from most mobiles. I cannot see why other firms cannot act like us or at Lisa's firm.

To be fair to Payplan when I was with them, the phone was always answered quickly and if we couldn't speak to the case officer straightaway then someone would try and assist us or arrange a call back.

I had a dedicated email address for them and these were always replied to promptly.

Just a quick update.

Variation meeting is scheduled for beginning of October and have now been passed to 'Resolutions' rather than 'Collections'.

No-one seems to have a record of any of my previous emails, I have to keep forwarding them a copy of what's happened previously but on a positive note all the CF staff have been friendly and helpful

Good luck with your variation meeting - glad the staff have been friendly.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Just wanted to let everyone know - the variation was approved! I can continue with my payments after a 10 month break.

35 payments left.

Thanks again.

Great news, shame about the added stress cause with their mistake about the breach.
