r.s, whatever decision you make, you have to live with. However, you did state the £260 would be difficult to pay. You could do a DMP, but the creditors will still harrass you for more money as this is a DMP and they are informal arrangements.
You said are in poor health, and stated you wanted it over it as soon as possible. So, a DMP may not be the correct option for you as it could take many years to complete.
A bankruptcy is NOT scarey. It only feels that way presently because it is a new experience. The only difficult part is filling in the online application. The District Judge will probably allow it as they do 100's per day all across the country because you are insolvent. Layman's definition: more money going out every month than coming in and can't pay creditors the minium amount due.
You seem abit overwhelmed at the moment. You said you have not been sleeping well. You said you need to be told what to do. Okay, I shall tell you.
1. Get some sleep.
2. Log back on and have pen/pencil and paper nearby.
3. Write down site addresses and telephone numbers.
4. Conact them and ask questions. Return here and
and ask more questions about the route you
decided. Whether it's, IVA, DMP, or BR.
5. Once finally deciding that route, stick to
it. Vaccilating will aggravate your health
condition.
And a very important number 6.
6. Take care of yourself through this. It is very stressful, but once you have decided it will become less so. Try taking a few deep slow breathes, shake your hands like you're trying to air dry your hands and repeat,'' This will be over soon, this will be over soon.'' Release that tension through your fingers and through your mouth with each breath.
I am curious though about the information CCCS gave you. How were you confused over what they told you? Also, who you are using for an IP?
Hang in there r.s it does get better. Please continue to post as your experience is helping others.
Take care.
All I have left is my humour.
