I have a 3 month payment holiday and is it possible to have this extended to another 3 months after the first 3?

Your IP will need to take this request to the creditors, as it is unlikely that they have the discretion to authorise an extended payment break.

Is the situation going to improve in the next 3 months or are you putting off the inevitable. The IP would want assurances before even going near the creditors that 3 months turning into 6 wont just carry on and lead to failure of the IVA.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

6 months does seem like an awfully long payment break.
