It cant be that important though as its posted second class. I cannot write back, dont know who its from, I am not going to phone so I guess I will have to ignore it.

Don't phone them! I seem to remember a company being mentioned on here who use that tactic but I can't remember who they are.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

I did try 141 and then the number just to see who it was but it was just thanks for calling, no name. I am just not getting dragged in.

Every verbal interaction I have had with creditors amounts to exactly the same conclusion. They want a payment I cant make, try to make me feel crap, stress me out spoil my day and ultimately my kids suffer for it.

Its just not happening.

Or post the number on the forum especially if it's a free phone number and lets see who is first to find out who it is.. Chances are it will be a premium number..

Trust me, they will have heard from me, (if its a creditor).

I am sure they will try again, another way.

'Link Financial' work for other financial companies - debt collectors

""Link Financial purchases accounts from major retail banks and consumer finance providers. Using telephone and letter-based collection methods we recover the outstanding balances according to the financial situation of each customer.

The ethos of our company is based on respecting each customer as an individual and protecting the good name of the original lender.

Link can provide a wider range of receivables management solutions to lenders and organisations outside the financial sector, enabling them to meet their cash flow and recovery targets.""

Ah yeh, they look like a wonderful company.
So much so that they didn't want to embarrass you any further by putting their name/logo on the postcard that they sent you[}:)]

Annoying isn't it? I always put weird numbers I don't recognise on my mobile into Google and see what comes up. One number I had the other day had a whole thread on a forum dedicated to it! Was some company trying to flog mobile phone contracts. Might be worth doing that next time if you get anymore.

Katy :)
