Just want to spread the word on the below... i hope that is ok!
Can you circulate this around especially as Christmas is fast approaching - it has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam and you can check it out on Snopes!
A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a premium rate number). DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize .
If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £15 for the phone call.
If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655 or ICSTIS (the premium rate service regulator) at www.icstis.org.ukhttp://www.icstis.org.uk/
If you scroll down and read it,it tells you all about it.

Far better to post and it not be current, than not to post and it be a real one.
I always check on that site when someone sends me anything, it's quite good for sorting out the genuine ones.
It was a genuine one (some of them are not), but it appears that it was shut down (and a good job too).

I never phone any premium rate numbers (can't anyway as they are blocked on our phone - legacy from when daughter was young - just in case!).
Any numbers like that I check out on www.saynoto0870.com. If I can't find a geographical number, or the name of the company on there, I don't contact them.
