Hi there,

I currently have 2 years remaining on my IVA which equates to £16,800 left to pay out of £42,000.
My contributions are £700.00 per month. IVA is with McCambridge Duffy

My employment changed under Covid as I am sure many other did and I take home much less money than before. I did not receive any redundancy pay.

My parents want me to get out of debt and are prepared to offer me £13,000 as a full and final settlement.
Do you think this would be accepted ? Is it too high or too low ?

Regards and thanks for your time

I think that it is a reasonable offer if you factor in the fact that, due to a lowered income, the expected £16,800 might be reduced at review.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

It's a strong offer in my opinion and one I would hope would be accepted - let us know how you get on.
