Hello everyone.

My full and final was paid nearly 2 months ago and the account is in the closing stages. Once i have the certificate i shall be even happier.

Im with harrington brooks and happily filled out some ppi/bank charge claim forms a few months ago although i did not think there was anything to claim.
But i got a letter a few days ago from some sols asking me to fill out details on ppi for a credit card.
Im fairly sure there was never any ppi so have called HB first to enquire and am waiting a call back.

My question is that if there is a claim how long will this take and will it delay the iva closure?
I would prefer not to claim anything as this bad chapter in my life is finished.
IVA completed April 2011.

Hi steevo,

Im not entirely sure on this one, Im sure someone will be along with more knowledge.
The only thing I do know with miss-sold PPI claims whilst "in" a IVA, anything anyone gets back is usually paid into the IVA & the debt is reduced. Which in my opinion is far enough.
So not sure how it would work with yours being in the closing stages.
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Hi Steevo,

I think that it may hold up the claim as anything you had from that would either go to the original creditor or be split between everyone.

You do need to wait for HB to get back to you to see what they say.

HB called back and advised i can just call the sols to cancel the claim as there was no PPI on the account.

Thanks for the replies and best of luck to everyone
