I have received my completion certificate off StepChange and all Noddle, Experian and Equifax have all noted the completion certificate (I sent copies out also to them) as well as the Insolvency Register however I am unclear about if I am now able to pursue PPI claims as StepChange never asked me to and I also did not receive any letters about a PPI Extension? Can I start the process and if so is there a template letter? Thanks in advance.

Check your completion letter to see if mentions anything about PPI.
It may well be that any PPI claims will get paid across and of course remember that you may be liable for fees for any company who pursues it for you.

There is absolutely nothing on any correspondences or completion letter about PPI monies? Just a breakdown about what the supervisor as done, etc...I have read it now about 300 times lol....I would pursue the PPI myself without any company? Not sure what to do...

StepChange, unusually, don't seem to be pursuing PPI at all (which might come back and bite them, but maybe they have creditor approval). As Kallis mentions, there is a chance that creditors will either retain PPI to offset or insist on paying it to the IP --- in which case, if you use a claims firm, you could be out of pocket as you will be responsible for the fees.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
Thanks Foggy. Am still no wiser and unsure on what to do? I would make the PPI claim myself. Or should I wait until the Green v Wright case law in May and see what happens?
Thanks

You could pursue it yourself but make sure it's a 'no win, no fee' company.

Thanks Lisa. I will wait and see what happens in the Green & Wright case first. I have nothing to lose thereafter and if monies are returned to the IP there is nothing I can do about it and its nothing lost as I have always thought they would have pursued this earlier through my IVA.Even thought about ringing or emailing StepChange and asking them? Cheers.
Kallis - I meant to pursue with my own letter and use NO company.

As others have said, the outcome of Green v Wright may have an impact although it also seems as though your Supervisor has not taken any interest in PPI, as unfathomable as that appears. If that is the case, the Supervisor may also be happy to confirm in writing that he has no interest in the PPI claims, in which case the outcome of the court case is irrelevant. As far as I know, most expect the original decision to be overturned, therefore speaking directly to the Supervisor may be your best bet.
I am really surprised, though, that a company the size of StepChange have not investigated PPI and would be extremely surprised if they had gained creditor approval for ignoring potential assets. I also think Foggy is right about this potentially coming back to bite them.

I finished an IVA with Stepchange myself last August and in the 5 year it was going Stepchange themselves did not investigate PPI's.
I did receive PPI reimbursement from Barclays which I informed Stepchange of and paid the money to them and also Barclays reduced my Secured Loan account by the interest refund due, which Stepchange had no problems with.
I also paid over a life assurance policy that matured that I had actually forgotten about when setting up the IVA.
All Stepchange did during the 5 years was ask me to "confirm" that there was no more PPI claims to chase up and took my word for it.
Throughout the IVA I have not been asked about chasing PPI claims up and during one conversation with my IP she said they don't chase PPI's up? Not sure what to do and may take the advice and get my Supervisor to confirm this in writing that they wish not to pursue PPI claims.

I don't think Stepchange do - not sure about any of the others.
