Yep...we are feeling more positive altho I think my OH has underestimated the stress he must have been feeling..he has come out in severl cold sores and has just been having a wee weep....I have sent him to the bath with a hot toddy and instructions to go to bed and have an early night..
Kallis...you mentioned about buyers for the company...there are 3 interested parties who will be asked to present sealed bids to administrators over next few weeks...so again...it looks promising

Thanks again to all who have sent their best wishes....I am amazes at the number of people I know who are facing redundancy...not just here on the forum but elswhere too....3 of my friends are in similiar situations and our eldest son is waiting to see what Panasonic are doing too....Life is tough for so many people and I guess that it will bring people to their knees when they realise they can no longer service their debts.
This forum will only get busier ....

Good luck to your son at Panasonic MTL - it's scary being in the electronics industry at the moment. Where I work we manufacture electronics for the car industry, so it's doubly worrying!

Which Panasonic office does he work at - Panasonic used to be one of my customers.
