Morning all, no questions today [:D] sat down with wife last night with 3 hours of music on shuffle on media player, had a couple of glasses of asdas finest home brand vodka and a selection of quality Iceland nibbles, total cost of night, about £2.50[;)]. One of the best nights I've had in years!

Had a good gas about life in general, worked out which mediterranean Island we will retire to tonight (when the six numbers drop) and had a bit of a giggle trying to figure out where exactly we managed to get 42K of debt and only have some new carpets, a digital camera and a kitchen from B & Q to show for it [:)]

Sun is out this morning, and not feeling as bad about mondays meeting today, thought I'd share this happy moment with everyone on the forum who has shared so much advice and inormation, sometimes it's the little bits that count, not the big picture - have a great weekend[8D]

P.S car looks mucky now it's not raining!!!!!!

Isn't asda vodka ok???? I like their gin aswell. Nice with ice and a slice, long cool G&T........
We had a couple of glasses of cheap vino last night watching Most Haunted Live [:0][:0][:0]
Anybody else been watching it????? It's really scary although the medium on it is a bit OTT!!!
I know what you mean about not having much to show for our debt. In the last few month of our spending our debt more or less doubled as hubby had no income and we weren't entitled to any benefits because I was working (it was part time, term time only!). We used the cards to survive, drawing money off to pay the mortgage, d/d's and debts, spiralling until we had nothing left to use basically!!!!
Then there must have been at least £5,000 charges applied, missed p/ment and interest. It's as scary as Most Haunted when you start to reckon it all up!!

Anyhow, BOT, please your feeling more positive about monday. Thing's will soon be sorted and on your way to being debt free [:D]
xx
It's nice to be back......

Morning bot. Glad you had a good night last night - it's usually the unplanned cheap nights that are the best!!
Know what you mean about things looking dirty in the sun - my windows are disgusting!! It's a wonder I can see the sun through them lol[:D] I'm off on my weekly supermarket bargain hunt now - I really look forward to it, seeing how much I can save by going in different shops - Home Bargains is fantastic at the mo I'm saving an absolute fortune in there and Aldis!!!! I'm gonna look round the market today too seeing as tho there's no wind and rain to put me off!
Chris - my duaghter is addicted to MH but is upset now Derek isn't on it anymore. She worships him!!!!

It's a good mood day isn't it? I've been up since 6, cleaned all downstairs windows, hubby's washed my car and his van! done the housework and now off to shop like rollercoaster, it's the highlight of my week! I don't drink nor does my husband, but we're listening to old CD's whilst doing our jobs this morning! Have a great day everyone and good luck for your meeting on Monday x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

My hubbie is probably Most Haunted's greatest fan - but I can't watch it as it makes me scared. Some of the scense are really realistic, and the orbs really scare me - but you do wonder if any of it is stage managed.

Here in Cardiff it is grey, cold, raining and miserable - but then it always rains in Wales!

Well, I hope it isn't because it would be the biggest con since Orson Wells broadcast War of the Worlds.....[:D]
My 19yr old thinks we are crazy because we believe it's real and we get sooooo engrossed! I honestly don't think that they could fake some of it. But like I say, the new medium is OTT and I think even Yvette is getting sick of him making her jump! Best medium on there was David Wells, bring him back.
Derek Accora was FAR too dramatic and theatrical, he's acting was more scary than the spirits!!! lol

Very close - but the beaches are not really nice around Cardiff - you need to go to the Gower peninsular or Pembrokeshire for great beaches. I grew up in Pembrokeshire, and spent most of my school holidays at the beach - great memories and absolutely free of charge!

No idea rollercoaster....

It's pouring in Sunderland now, isn't rain miserable? I hate it, makes me cold and tired just looking out the window! I'm pleased we did our shopping online (went a bit daft over Easter so on a tighter budget this week), I can just stay in until Monday.
It's nice to be back......

Pouring it down here now as well, had to take car in to garage, strange noise from steering [:(] Still a bit of warranty so wanted to get it checked. Only snag is, certain parts covered others not, last thing we needed was a big repair bill. Just needed tensioner tightening on power steering belt, garage did it free of charge [:D][:D]. About time things went our way, will definitely use them for M.O.T.

Result BOT. i know what you mean about warranty. Our's had a few things wrong with but the thing is our local renault dealer charges nearly £80 diagnostics if the fault isn't covered by warranty! I took it back to the garage where I bought it from and got them to deal with it (even though they aren't dealers), I didn't want to chance having to pay £80!

Know what you mean Chris, made sure I was unshaven and put my old jeans & trainers on for effect, thought about putting a sleeping bag on back seat but thought that might be going too far [;)]
