You can check your title deeds online for a small fee at HM Land Registry .... use the official .Gov site, not a third party search company.

Thanks sorry for the questions but is it the TITLE REGISTER I need to check or am i in completly the wrong place?

You need the Register of Title. I think the restriction would appear at Section B: Proprietorship Register
