Thanks Rosepetal! I am encouraged by the fact that this month we still have a bit of cash left in the bank and that's after I went and bought a patio set from Focus (thought I'd take advantage of their bad luck). So hopefully we should be able to get through the 60 months!! Have managed to save a small contingency fund and it probably helps that with me having a motability car we will only need to worry about hubby's van.
Have managed to get an ISA opened with the Co-op so will be able to save for insurances etc in there throughout the year. Had to write a cheque last week for the book club at work and I panicked as it was the first time I realised I didn't have a chequebook anymore. But nipped out to the cashpoint machine and paid in cash - lovely feeling!

Hi, you're doing very well. it's a big thing to just face the debts,it takes courage. you're on your way to getting straight now, save as much as you can for emergency funds. lets hope we get some nice days in June for you to enjoy that furniture! i love sitting in my garden,i don't get out much(disability),the garden lifts my spirits.

i love paying in cash[:)],hug x

Snap Rosepetal - I am in so much pain most of the time I just love sitting in the sun with a good book and my guard macaw!!

Yes cash is a novelty - but amazing how many stores don't like taking big sums of cash as they have to pay more at the bank. Stupid world we live in.

Hi kazza, yes i'm not great on the pain front,it's wearing but the norm really.just trying not to let it get me down.

you're right cash is unusual these days! so much better though as you know exactly where you are!

still waiting for the weather!lol!
