Hi Guys,
My Draft proposal came today - All looks fine - although I have now sent documentation to support my rent increase of £22 a month so this will need to be amended on the proposal - will call them tomorrow to confirm. Looks like I will be paying approx £350 a month back which works out at 62p in the pound.
I hope that's enough for my creditors and they accept when it gets to the meeting.
New bank account details received today too so have spent the afternoon moving my DD's. It finally seems real!

That's a good return Susie. Won't be long now before a meeting date. At least you're getting the bank sorted as well now. One more hurdle out of the way.

Thanks Jan, I think I am just far too impatient - so far only had 3 creditors call about late/missed payments and once explained about the IVA they put the accounts on hold.
Patience is a virtue as they say but its something I don't have a lot of!..:):)
A sign of getting older I think!

Know what you mean Susie - I think we all feel the same. Just want it over and done with so we can get on with sorting our lives out.

Hi Susie

It sounds like you are able to offer a very good return to your creditors even with the amendment for your rent increase. With a bit of luck your creditors meeting should be called in the next 2-3 weeks and then your IVA should be in place. Creditors may still call fr a while after than but then you will be left in peace.

I am hoping it will all go ok...and i hope yours does too Kat.
Decided to contact the council today about my council tax DD - guy was very helpful and cancelled then told me my account is up to date for this year so no payment now till 15th April, by which time it will be set up on new account - £74 up this month now!..Will need to use for fuel to visit my parents next week( Dad's 60th Birthday) but a bonus all the same!..
Will allow myself a glass of wine tonight!...and save the rest for when my proposal is accepted!

Thank you - yes, I've read it around 5 times since I got in tonight - payment of around £350 a month with a return of 62p in the pound. All creditors listed ( 11 of them) checked, checked and re-checked.
All expenditure is correct as of now..luckily my rent & water bills came in last week so managed to get in the new amounts.
It is daunting especially when you see all the official parts of the proposal but having only just paid nominal amounts this month - tha calls and letters have started so its a must to get it moving forward and hopefully to the right conclusion.:)

yes Ginger, I am a little, will start to worry more near the creditor meeting time - will probably be panicking that it will fail and i am back to square 1.
