If someone puts your name in google it will not show the entry in the register. This is something I had worried about but found info that said it didn't!

My IVA is on the register now and of course I just had to check google! And no, it doesn't show up.

The daft thing is, people get your name from the register and then contact you offering you an IVA. I've had 2 letters and a phone call......crazy

No I think you have to go and look and unless your on it or work for financial institutions I wouldnt think anyone would look, and if they did they wont say anything cos you'd know they looked you up and they must probably be on it too to have looked in the first place.
