I have not been able to get public liabilty or a buisness acc up to xmas anyhow. is there any pointers out there to show me of any places doing these now? all the forums are from early last year on this subject.

I'm just bumping this up for our self-employed posters. I know it's hard...but it can be done x

Why business people are treated as high risk of insurance cover beggars belief as you are not exactly asking for credit at the end of the day. I use good brokers who I would be happy to recommend to you if you contact me off line.

Thanks guys,

I can sort of understand the buisness account, but then again all i want is and account with buisness name on and no overdraft, dont even want a cheque book!! regards the public liabilty it really is annoying, all i can think of is maybe they think you may "have a accident" at a freinds house and get the money to pay of IVA? thats all i can think of really, but with the 55k i owe i would have to burn a freinds house down to get that pay out the clowns. You just seem to be getting punished for making few mistakes in your life, maybe i should of paid my £500 and gone bankrupt and in 5yrs start again instead of tring to do the right thing and pay it back.

It's getting to be the same with house insurance as well - I know when Skippy's other half tried to get insurance a few years ago he was turned down by one company as she was bankrupt!!!
