Hi
I finished my iva in august 2017 but during it I read a lot of posts on here . One thing I struggled with was as a self employed carpenter it was very hard to get public liability insurance . Or if I did get it it was very costly at over £400 . If you are looking try SIS they deal in people who struggle elsewhere Bankrupts / IVA /people with convictions ect . They have been great for the last two years and my premium has been around the £140 mark . their num is ****number removed by moderator - site rules**** . and to anyone else out there who is self employed good luck .
