I love to train dogs and know a collie has a lot to give in return for the training, but also realise the commitment it takes to own one, so not for me at the minute, I win the lottery it's on my list as I can spend all day with him/her.

Would love to own a dog as well, but like lesley_ wrot it´s such a big commitment I just can´t get one at the moment. And of course there´s the issue of money as well.

I own a blind cocker spaniel, bought for showing but didn't work out. a rescue chocolate lab who is highly trained now after a bad start in life. The Collie will have to be when I've more time as they need a lot of stimulation, much more than I can commit to at present. x

Brian?! why Brian? I suppose the Schnauzer off Spaced was called Colin but a slightly unusal name!

the fawn ones are gorgeous but sometimes i like a black pug too, its like Pomeranians, I never know if i prefer the Black ones or the golden ones.

My daughters friend has a border terrier called Rio - they are big Man U fans!

Personally, I don't like pugs or Pomeranians!!

We also know an Airedale called Angus Skip - his dad is a big AC/DC fan!

Angus was lovely! I've already decided on a name (if he doesn't already have one) - Allen. No reason other than I saw a cat called Allen and I thought it was a good name!

I'm not keen on pugs to be honest - someone I knew had one and the horrible little thing launched itself at me! Although it could only reach my knees it wasn't pleasant!

I really dislike Pomeranians too Jan, my granny had 2 and they were horrible to me. Any dog would do me, would either be Stewart or Sadie

I don't dislike any dog it has to be said but I'm more comfortable around some than others.

Why Brian? no idea - she just wants a pug called Brian!

I love most dogs but there are some pedigree breeds I wouldn't even entertain having.

I wouldn't want to own a lot of breeds.
