Quick question for Melanie

Hi Melanie had a meeting today at my 2nd job and they want to buy one of my holiday weeks, does 50% of this money then be paid into my IVA as part of the uplift?

We had to vote on reducing from 5 weeks holiday to 4 and the 5th week being bought my our MD. Luckily I was last in line to answer and the others all voted in favour, so my answer was I'll go with the majority.

It equates to 9 hours pay.

No - if you want to trade your holiday for money then this is not caught under the uplift clauses.

I work in education and for me there are too many holidays especially now as I soon get fed up at home! This week I've been off and Monday I went in all day to do a website creation course, Tuesday/Wednesday at Manchester, Thursday I went in to my second job for training and a staff meeting how mad am I? Today I've been to hospital this morning for Orthopaedic appointment and food shopping this afternoon! Tomorrow I'm relaxing and going fishing with hubby.
