Hi all. It's been a few months since my completion and its been amazing. Anyways, just a quick question..... Now that my iva is over and I received my completion certificate am I now classed as solvent?

My name is no longer on the insolvency register...

Thanks

It however may be worth paying the £2 - to each of the credit agency for your credit report - just may make sure all you defaults and IVA are dated correctly - so they will fall off your credit reports when the 6 years

You are now technically solvent in that you have assets in excess of your liabilities and you can afford to repay any creditors as they fall due. Your credit file may not be entirely clean until six years have passed since the IVA commenced but that does not make you insolvent.
