we are going to melt the ice caps well before any volcanoes do,so instead of a quick death the humane race and animal life are going to suffer a slow death then the volcanoes will fossilise the evidence

Unless we blow ourselves up with nuclear weapons prior to the melting of the polar ice caps.

In the Car industry, the scrappage scheme is distorting the normal take up of cars, so anything connected to that sector, it look rosy. Except, these car subsidies are the future revenues paying for the present....unwise....eating the future gains today. With the norm of UK GDP being 1.2 trillionin 2007, it will take more than inflated car sales to be back to this figure and out of the Recession.

In America today they announced 10.2% of the pop' now unemployed......and that economy is suppose to be out of recession??

The UK is clearly the sickman economy after Latvia and Ireland. It must be bad karma.

Well I'm not complaining - the scrappage scheme has kept me in a job and will hopefully mean I get my salary restored!

The state of the British economy is nothing to do with 'bad karma', only bad management from the government.

Totally agree Skippy.

Karma has nothing to do with it - just a bad government.

As do the vast majority of us on here.

I think the government owe just a little bit more than the rest of us though.
