Just been on the news that RBS are to cut up to 2,300 jobs in Britain.

They do say they won't be branch staff though.

I wonder who will bear the brunt of the cuts. I doubt very much if it will be those whose greed and negligence left this bank on it's knees and two thirds owned by the taxpayers.

Wonder what % of their workforce 2300 is??

Any compulsory redundancies??
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

It didn't say, as it had just come on as breaking news, and hubby is now watching a repeat of Time Team, so I've no idea!

Michael - all the bankers have been on and said 'Sorry' today, you don't really expect them to be punished any further do you?

they have done this so there will be less staff to share bonuses with .they all do profit or not profit sharing around the same time !! !!!the fat cats just get fatter

Bring back the stocks I say - we could pelt them all with rotten veg (gleaned from the bins at the backs of the supermarkets so it doesn't cost us!)[:D]
