hi have recieved a ccj from one of my creditors today whilst waiting for my proposal to come through have left message for mt ip to phone me as with regards what to do but hasnt got back to me yet. does anybody know how this works now or been in this situation.can the ip stop the ccj until iva accepted or is it a case of filling the form in and paying until the iva is hopefully accepted

There is really no point in doing anything to stop a CCJ when you are in the process of proposing an IVA to your creditors, as the registration of a CCJ is no worse than having an IVA on your record.

You could apply for an Interim Order of the Court to stop ongoing legal action, but this will be more expensive for you and largely unecessary. I suggest that you get your IP to get cracking with the proposals as soon as possible to avoid any further legal actions against you.

Yes - there is no harm in sending the form back to Court confirming that you are in the process of an IVA, and if a payment amount is set for you I would certainly make those payments to avoid action by bailiffs.
