Hi All

Just a quick note to wonder how long I should wait from my phone call on Monday this week, with DFD , discussing the ins and outs of my reduced salary and variation claim , to bothering them again to see how they doing .

They did say would call me within a couple of days . Anyway maybe they are putting together a proposal , as do need to know where I am going forward with this .

Would they just call a variation meeting without telling me ?

Any views most welcome ..

Thankyou all..
Bryn Andrews

Hi Bryn

I would pester them every day until you get answers - I'm sure they're very busy in the present climate, but don't let them forget about you.

We were given our variation date in advance of the meeting, as its very similar to the original meeting where you have to be available by phone on the day.

Give them another ring Monday morning to see what they have come up with.

They should tell you the date of the meeting - as Swans Girl says, it is similar to your original meeting.

Let us know how you get on on Monday Bryn.

I'd be the same as Swans Girl, I'd be on the phone every day until I got an answer.

I phoned DFD Friday and was asked to call back on Monday as only a skeleton staff had been in the latter end of last week due to the weather situation - seeing as I have the same issue where I am I can kinda understand it - however it is frustrating - so come 9am Monday morning I will be back on the phone !

Let us know how you get on Bryn.

Hopefully you'll get through too Lulu - if the whole country hasn't come to a standstill again!

We had snow this afternoon and evening, and it started to stick, but it's all gone now.
