lol

call me a cynic but geothermal and other options give us most of what we would need.

Anyone else think geothermal and potentially fusion is being held back because it would impact too many peoples jobs/profits worldwide rather than because it isn't feasible?

Too right - I put £20 petrol in today and it barely made a dent on the petrol guage.

Trouble is, all these eco friendly, economincal, alternative, cheap (er) to run cars are b***** expensive to buy!

i'm not denying global warming either but i still think it's one big con.

Take Al Gore for example. You kinda want to believe for a while until you find out his links to one of the biggest carbon offset companies. RAKING the money in and telling us why we HAVE to offset etc.

CON CON CON

The problem with introducing any new powered vehicles is that once they become popular the government will up the tax on them. If more people used that cheap autogas stuff they would soon whack more tax on it.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

Perish the thought that us plebs should be allowed to have something cheap to run! That would spoil the Governments fun!

I gathered it was a long night. I have been chasing round the forum for most of the night responded to all the messages you left tying them up (so to speak). I think in the last 10 mins I have answered a few of yours on different threads. Very touched you gave me a thought even though you sounded slaughtered lol[:D]
