Hi,

Kallis3 - Thanks for the tip about the Duncton. I've had a look. The deposit is quite high so would need to figure a way of getting that...Do they need to do a credit check? How would this be viewed in the eyes of the IP as this would be a big outgoing each month?

Hi Nat,

Duncton are not bothered about the fact that you are in a IVA, hence the high APR.

You would obviously need to be able to finance that and your IVA and you do need to speak to your IP about it.

Worth a shot if you think you can manage it. At least then you would have a decent car.

Hope your IP sees sense and allows it Nat...they may even allow payment breaks so you can finance the deposit?

Good luck xx

Hi all,

We were unable to get the remortgage unfortunately! Think we are going to wait until our cars go bang for the final time then will look into getting the finance, may aswell use them for as long as we can. Thanks for all of your input though, will definately be back on here for more car finance advice when the time comes!!
