Sorry guys but i really need to rant,im completely hacked off at the moment & felt i need to let off steam.
why isnt anything ever straight forward (we only have ourselves to blame for our situation).we are in our 4th year & everything was ok then within the last couple of months we have lost £500 in salary due to my company cutbacks & my partners business having to close.we were paying £500 per mth iva payments & have contacted my ip to explain situation & last week filled a new I&E form in and returned to my ip,still waiting for them to get back to me.......
when i initially spoke to my ip they were sympathetic & explained they could perhaps let us have a 6 mth payment break which is helpful but things wont be any different in 6 mths will it.our wages will not dramatically increase & i cant see a way out of this mess.things at home our getting touchy as we are arguing over petty rubbish because of our situation.we are supposed to remortgage next year & pay a £31,000 lump sum, that isnt gonna happen either is it.
Sorry to rant & i must remember that we have our health & each other & are better off than others.

Really sorry Keiser.

I hope that a variation can be proposed for you if things don't start looking up, but best speak again to your IP to see what they can suggest. Perhaps a remortgage could be done now to conclude? Can you change to IO and offer that for a 12/24 month period as a F&F if this isn't possible? Kick around a few ideas and then speak to your IP - they should be constructive and help you through.

Very best of luck.

Thanks Debtwich.I dont think a remortgage is even thinkable at the moment.dont think anyone would be interested in even attempting to remortgage us.You mentioned IO does this mean interest only mortgage,do you think this would be a idea.our current mortgage deal ends jan next year.im not really up to date on this kind of thing but would an interest only mortgage for lets say 2 years be allowed & would this save us a bit on monthly mortgage payments.i will look at anything as losing our home would just finish us off completely.we have had our mortgage for 8 years

I do hope that things can be sorted for you both and that your IP's can help, it must be a worrying time xx
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Switching to interest only may well be a good idea to explore, and your IP should be helping you to find an appropriate solution.

Keiser, that's not good news and I do hope you manage to get something sorted.

You have done well to get this far.
