Sorry this is nothing to do with IVA, except perhaps life does go on.

My eldest has just entered his first athletics competition and came 2nd in the whole of Sussex.

I am so proud!

Plus as his dad took him, I have to cook tea and for the first time ever I have cooked a roast.

Thanks Viki,

It really does put things into perspective.

As to the roast noones eaten it yet so it could be terrible, but hey I tried.

If and when you have children you will wonder what you did before having them. They are a joy and make all our scarifies worthwhile.

Ak Kirsty, that's lovely. I can't wait really, just keep putting it off until debt sorted......I know that's awful.

We only ever have a roast on Christmas day so can you come here and cook one for me please.....I wouldn't have a clue![:I]

Enjoy your tasty meal.

I had to get instructions from my husband before I made it as he always cooks the Roast.

Anyway update, Chicken is cooked but nothingelse is, have had to swap all around, just wish eldest and husband were back so I could show off my culinary delights.

Well Done , Not only too your son but you as well on your roast.!I had a proud moment too last week , my daughter aged 10 and her three friends came first in a talent show and have won and go through to the final against other schools in June. My son entered a drawing competition and won . My eldest daughter looked after me this week and her brother and sister while i had the flu in bed. Hubby was at work and she took charge and helped .She is only 13. Children can be so trying and then every once in a while they do something that makes you pleased as punch .

Hi Kirsty, Well done to you and your son for both of your great achievements [:D] I know how it feels to be a proud Mum, my son performed on stage at our local theatre a couple of months ago with his Rock bank, and he got a standing ovation! He is a 14 yr old TTTA guitarist (TTTA - typical teenage testosterone attitude)but I was as proud as anything that day (I even shed a tear)! Well done also to everyone for all the other great achievements. Viki, I wasn't into babies, but the older they get, the funnier they get and are great company. Maybe your day will come soon, I hope so. Kazzy x
