I can assure you that you will eventually get the very same level of service from the guys at Grant Thornton - as I know them all very well. It has been a mammoth project taking over 8,500 cases over and I am sure we can all sympathise with that a little.

Teh Co-Op decided they were going to pay GT an extra £30 from my account which I wasn't prepared for - nor did I have the funds to cover it. They were adamant that I had made the request (even though I hadn't) and that I would have to re claim the money from GT.

I made the request at the end of May as soon as I realised what they had done and GT kept saying it was on its way etc - I finally received the cheque last Friday. At least if I had known it was going to take so long, I could have planned better for it - and whilst I realise it wasn't GT's fault, it wasn't until four weeks after I first made the request, that I was told that they were sending a cheque.

At least they haven't increased my monthly payment - perhaps because I've been upping it for the past year as I could afford to.

Presumably as with any business, they would have "staffed up" for the take over though ??

Things can only get better - now where have I heard that before.....[:D]
There's light at the end of the tunnel - it's just that sometimes the tunnel seems so long.
