Hi sw
Have you had somne changes that have caused the problem like drop in wages or increased expenditure, or do you feel that your expenditure was unrealistic in the first place.

Did you discuss the implications of entering into an IVA with your partner before you commenced the procedure, and were they supportive? An IVA is rarely an easy option, and does require sacrifice, and when you are in a partnership - both parties need to support the concept.

Welcome to the Forum s.w,

One of the most important aspects of an IVA is that it is affordable, when it becomes unaffordable this is when missed payments can happen etc.

The best thing to do is explain your current situation to your I.P, explain why you are finding it hard to make your monthly payment. Your I.P may be able to give you a payment break, however if a reduced payment is needed long-term you made need your I.P to hold a variation meeting with your creditors.
