Hi everyone. I have been in an IVA for 4 years with Payplan. I have found them a nightmare to communicate with buts another issue. In April this year I had my car user allowance taken off me from work, and as a sweetener they gave me 2 years car user allowance in one lump sum. Now payplan are saying that I had an increase in income and want nearly £900 off me. My argument is that if I still got paid the allowance monthly I would still have exactly the same income, but not the almost £900 bill they're expecting me to pay. I let them know at the time that this was happening and they didn't get back to me, causing me to miss my deadline for either accepting the offer or continuing with my monthly payments. Has anyone else had an issue like this before and are they right to ask for more money off me even though my wages are less now than they were and I haven't received any more money than I would have done over the next 2 years?
