Well, finally decided to take the voluntary exit and am officially jobless as of Thursday last week. I now have to make a full and final offer to the creditors and I'm just praying they will accept it. I have to say that I have never been treated so appallingly in any job and I have had really cruddy ones. Anyway, new life chapter to start and hopefully it will be a debt free one. I also have to move house as we cannot afford the rent of this place anymore and I don’t know when I will get another job. The tragedy is that in my team 8 of us have left with a total of 116 years experience – those left behind have a total work experience of 8 years. Hey, ho! :)
Thanks for all the encouragin words I have received. THis place has really made all the difference. I just have to get my confidence back and I will be on track again.

Sharon, sorry to hear that you will be jobless but it sounds as though you will be happier - nobody deserves to be treated badly at work.

I have everything crossed that your creditors will accept the full and final.

Let us know how things go.

Will do. Actually woke up today feeling better than I have in a VERY long time. Can see light at the end of the tunnel and feel "worthy" again.

Sharon, their loss, sounds like you are much better out if that job, keep your IP informed as I am sure they will sort something out.
Fingers and everything else crossed for you.

Hey...their loss and a great opportunity for you. I have everything crossed for the full and final. Life's too short to waste in a crummy company like that. You deserve far better! xx

Hi Sharon, ditto to what others on here have said, am assuming that you work (ed) in public sector?, to be honest they are all at it at the moment. I hope that the full and final offer works for you and am sure that you and your work colleagues will find better employment with employers who treat their staff with respect and dignity.
