Hello. Was just in process of submitting IVA info to IP
when CORUS decide to lay off half of workforce. Now in limbo as no decisions have been made as to who stays & who goes. Now waiting & hoping. Not sure whether redundancy money would be able to be used as a f&f payment but would probably need money to survive on anyway as not much hope of job elsewhere at present.

Just let your IP know how things stand at the moment.
You could try your redundancy as an F&F, but as you say, you're going to need it to live.

As one who lives and works in South Wales, we really do not need another big lot of redundancies in our local community - so I really do feel for you.
Wait and see what happens, and then deal with the problem if you need to. You will get lots of advice on the forum, and it is best to only worry about things when you need to. Keeping everything crossed for you.
