Well Northern Rock rejected our offer, and despite all others agreeing, as the largest creditor the IVA failed.
They didn't give a reason, so my IP is trying to find out why. Meeting now arranged for next Monday. I am absolutely gutted. Don't know which way to turn.
I can't believe I am putting my family through this.

Oh Meash, I am so sorry to hear that.[:(]

What meeting is this on Monday? Is your IP going to try and talk to them?

You can always start a DMP now and try again a few months down the line, or, as a last result, go BR. At least then you would be able to start again with a clean sheet.

Thanks guys,I just kept hoping that it would be accepted. BR is a massive step, i have young twins so to lose our home would be terrible.
Mt IP is trying to get some reason from NR and will try again with them by next Monday

Arent the SIVA's coming out in the next wee while, they require less % of the vote so you may be able to trot along in a dmp for the time being and apply when they start to operate(not sure exactly when they are coming out though)
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

I'm sorry Meash :( And having to wait another week it's just horrible. Try and keep positive, hopefully your IP can figure out NR's reasoning and come to some sort of agreement.

Hi
We are in the same boat as you,we have 3 children and don`t really want to face bankruptcy as it seems a scary thing. our first meeting ws on the 31st July and it was rejected by them. We had another meeting on the 7th of august which again was still no. We are waiting until this thursday now for our last meeting. It is horrible waiting and not actually being able to do anything. fingers crossed that yours will be a `yes` next time.
good luck
