Hi looking for some advice please, my hubby has his action meeting tomorrow and hes fretting.

Normally pays £200 board, however mum knows his current financial situation and tends to give it straight back to him and just says go get the food in etc or she'll say fill the tank up etc. When she does take it, she uses it for gas & electric etc she pays with the cards.

We are terrifed that they (the creditors or cccs) will try to contact mum to confirm this? I mean, how do they know? it never goes through her bank stmt as she either gave it back or put onto the cards etc?

hw could we phrase the letter? simply " I confirm that x board payment is £200" and leave it there, or "I confirm x board payment is £200 which is used for food, gas & elec etc" ??

God what to do !!!

Any advice?

You can still buy rent books, I think the PO sell them. Get one fill out the details, and use that as proof of payment. Don't quote me but, once he hands the money to Mum and she records it then what she does with her money is her business.
