I have been at my current address for over 10 years, I am renting a room which works for me and I contribute to the household bills etc. Does my IVA effect anyone else at my address or is the person I rent off in danger of having problems in the future?

Thank you, nottsguy

Hi
They should be fine
If they do have any problems then they can file a note of disassociation with the three credit reference agencies

I also rent a room and my friends credit is fantastic. I called experian a few months into my IVA just to check and put her mind at ease, they said it would only effect her if we applied for anything together, that is the only way our details will be on each others credit file. So we was both pleased with that [:D]
