Hi and welcome to the forum.

You should be able to rent a property. You might have to put down a bigger deposit as your credit rating may be impaired but I think you will be ok renting.

Hi. I've been renting many different properties the whole time I've had an IVA and I have never had any problems.

Hello Glenys.hn,

Our debt management plan clients haven't reported any significant issues with renting new properties.

Its best to raise the issue with the agent prior to them doing a credit check.

This will give you the chance to explain to them that your debt management plan actually prioritises rent payments.
