Hi Sossage!
No, we just had to paid the usual deposit which was equivalent to 6 weeks rent and then a months rent upfront too. It cost us £225 in fees as they said my mom had to do a complete application form too and obviously we couldnt ask her to pay for it herself!
Oh and we had to pay an extra £95 on the first months rent aswell as the landlord took out 'rent guarantee' insurance to protect her!
