In a fortnight it is my sons 18th birthday and my 40th in a couple of months time. this afternnooon my friend has poPped round to see me and offered a joint party in her garden for me and my son. She has the most fab cottage and huge garden that would really lend itself to this kind of occasion. What a generous offer. Her husband has said he will put on a barrel of beer, she has said that she will empty her freezer to help with costs of food catering!!! What a wonderful thoughtful thing to do for us. I recently confided in her about me and my husbands financial position and she has been nothing but a rock to me. This sort of offer just makes me feel so great and restores my faith, true friends will be there for you whether you have money or NOT!![:D][:D][:D]

What a lovely person - but I am sure you would do the same for her if the roles were reversed. That is what true friendship is all about - and it does not cost one penny!

It's times like this that we find out who our real friends are and she obviously sees you as a true friend by doing this for you. It's a lovely gesture from her and her hubby and great that you will celebrate both birthdays together. Enjoy your party's....
It's nice to be back......
